For example, in a digital presentation organised by the prestigious German institute FZ Jülich, one of the most prestigious research institutions in Europe, the enormous potential that microalgae have in sustainable wastewater treatment and in the circular economy was reported. This virtual event is part of an online conference cycle on research with microalgae that the German institution promoted during lockdown. Aqualia collaborated with this institution, which focusses its activities on the fields of health, energy and the environment, and regularly brings together scientists and specialists from around the world to disseminate knowledge on the potential of algae.
